With these new aluminium crane systems, the vacuum specialists J. Schmalz GmbH in D-72293 Glatten complete their range of material-flow solutions.

All services in the area of vacuum handling systems, from analysis of the requirements through consultation, project design, manufacture, installation and commissioning to after-sales service, can now be provided from the company's own range of products and services. The new cranes are available as single-beam, double-beam or monorail systems. The maximum load is in all cases up to 660 kg.

On the basis the experience gained from the installation of many vacuum handling systems, a range of aluminium cranes was developed specifically for combination with either the vacuum tube lifters Jumbo or crane-mounted vacuum lifting devices VacuMaster.

 Just like all other standard Schmalz systems, the new crane system is fully modular. The system is based on four different aluminium sections and permits the fast, modular construction of cranes optimised for weight, load and costs.

The aluminium sections can be up to eight metres long, permitting a large working area. The crane trolleys are mad of high-quality plastic material, are very light and easy to move, and can support loads of up to 500 kg per trolley. The proven ease of movement permits the rapid, safe and ergonomical transport of many kinds of goods.

 Depending on the planned application, the aluminium crane systems can be combined with a chain hoist or a vacuum tube lifter can be mounted directly; they are thus suitable for universal use. The modular system, and the professional Schmalz configuration program allow fast and easy configuration of the desired crane system. This can even be done on the customer's premises. Since all components are available from stock. Such complete vacuum handling systems can be erected very quickly and used immediately.
