Any CNC machining centre with a slotted machine table can be retrofitted quickly and easily with the Innospann vacuum clamping systems. 

The modular concept permits extremely individual clamping-technology solutions for the efficient machining of one-off jobs and small series, regardless of the manufacturer and the type of the CNC machining centre. The modular system guarantees maximum flexibility. 

Use of the Innospann systems has been proved to reduce the set-up times by up to 80%, with the corresponding positive effects on the actual machining times.

The Steel-Plate is a stainless-steel plate with a thickness of 3 mm. For less demanding applications, it is also available in galvanised steel. The plate is cut to match the dimensions of the existing machine table.

Suction blocks of the types Quad-Base and Mono-Base can then be positioned freely on the plate. A laser-etched grid is provided on the plate surface for better orientation. Unused vacuum apertures are closed manually with the aid of magnetic sealing plugs.

The Steel-Plate-T is a further development of the well-known Innospann Steel-Plate. The use of solenoid valves means that it is no longer necessary to seal unused vacuum apertures manually with magnetic sealing plugs.
Suction blocks of the types Mono-Base-T and Quad-Base-T can be placed directly on the Steel-Plate and positioned freely over the valves.
The suction blocks are held in position magnetically and the workpiece is clamped with vacuum.

The slotted-table suction blocks can be mounted very quickly. They permit various overall heights and thus even complex milling and all-round edge machining operations.
The suction blocks are suitable for use on machine tables with slots spaced 30x30 mm and 50x50 mm apart. They are simply placed in the existing slots and equipped with the suction cups needed to clamp the workpiece in question.
Various overall heights for complex edge-machining operations can be achieved, for the Mini-Plate-R and Quad-Base-R, with the aid of standard spacer rings.
