Magnetic gripper SGM now available in new size
The magnetic gripper SGM from Schmalz is now available in a diameter of 34 mm.
Vacuum pads cannot always handle sheet-metal parts with holes and apertures. For such cases, Schmalz have developed special magnetic grippers.
Until now, these grippers were available in three sizes, namely:
SGM 20, diameter 20 mm
SGM 47, diameter 47 mm
SGM 80, diameter 80 mm
We have now introduced a magnetic gripper with a diameter of 34 mm; this is immediately available.
The design of this new magnetic gripper has been greatly optimised. The extremely narrow shape permits installation in restricted spaces while still offering improved holding forces!
The new gripper can optionally be mounted with the aid of a ball-mounting with clamp, since it is also available with a ball for this purpose.
