For the first time since its establishment, our Polish company Schmalz Sp. z o.o. took part in the largest automation trade fair in Poland, the "Automaticon 2007".

This trade fair was held in Warsaw on 13 - 17.03.2007. On a stand with a floor area of 16 square meters, the company presented all products of the business process Vacuum Components and Systems.

The most interesting of these for the visitors were the vacuum ejector "X-Pump" and the large-area vacuum gripper FXC. In spite of great competition from other exhibitors, the vacuum ejector "X-Pump" won the "Gold Medal" of the trade fair Automaticon.

The president of the committee, Mariusz Olszewski, praised the X-Pump as an innovative product with functionality, reliability and intelligent Condition Monitoring for the economic operation of automation applications.

Further gold medals were awarded to the companies Bosch Rexroth, SICK, MikroB, RELPOL and Renishaw.

A total of 300 companies presented their latest developments in the automation sector to about 11,000 visitors.

The Schmalz stand was visited by many potential customers, and a large number of interesting contacts were registered.
