Vacuum technology is already widely used in the activities of production and distribution companies, such as filling of cardboard boxes and other packages, handling of cardboard boxes and other containers, commissioning, sorting, loading and unloading of pallets and vehicles, and moving and/or transporting all types of packages and packed goods. With the vacuum tube lifters of the JUMBO series from the vacuum specialists J. Schmalz GmbH in 72293 Glatten, many such activities can be rationalised at an acceptable cost.

In order to show the many potential users the benefits of using vacuum tube lifters for the handling of materials and packages, Schmalz have now published a new flyer with the title "Schmalz Branch Solutions LOGISTICS". This provides engineers and users with an overview of many existing applications, from goods receipt through in-house logistics to the dispatch department.

This four-page flyer shows individual solutions from 10 different areas from the handling of raw materials to the loading of the finished products on pallets and the handling of empty pallets. Since the vacuum tube lifters can be equipped, as desired, either with mechanical or mechanical/pneumatic gripper systems, even "difficult" objects or goods which cannot be gripped purely with vacuum can be handled easily and safely. The modular JUMBO system permits the construction of vacuum lifting devices for loads weighing from 20 to 300 kg. If desired, the manufacturers, J. Schmalz GmbH, can plan and install the complete handling system, including the vacuum generator, the crane system and the gripper system.
