Construction and applications:
The large-area vacuum gripper is based on a light body made of polyamide. Each gripper block has ten independent vacuum chambers. The flexible sealing mat is made of technical EPDM foam. A valve in each vacuum aperture improves the blow-off function.
Typical applications of the FX-120/60-SW-gripper are the handling of small to medium-sized parts, but they can also handle larger parts and parts with differing surfaces. Packing, palleting and commissioning of cardboard boxes is possible as is the handling of parts with porous or curved surfaces. Even if the parts have undefined apertures and holes in their surfaces, they can still be handled easily with the FX-120/60-SW. By combining several gripper blocks to form a composite system, it is possible to handle even heavy and unwieldy articles with vacuum.
