Schmalz presents a further variant of the spring plunger: the spring plunger with flexible holder, type FSTF, which is particularly suitable for handling workpieces with varying heights.
This robust and compact holder can be mounted easily with a guide block and a clamping screw on aluminium sections from the Schmalz product range and other supports.

The spring plunger has a ¼“ female thread or a ½“ male thread for mounting of the suction pad. The special feature is that the asymmetrical guide block permits the plunger to be adjusted by simply turning and rotating it. This guide block is an injection-moulded part and is thus robust and has good mechanical properties. The guide for the spring plunger is integrated directly into the plastic holder and is thus protected against dust and dirt.
