Schmalz Base Pump - progress is unstoppable!

Handling tasks are becoming faster and faster and have to be optimised for performance, which means that lighter and more compact components are needed. The innovative Schmalz Base Pump offers completely new solutions.

The completely new basic ejector with single-stage nozzle is characterised by the following highlights:
Schmalz Base Pump:

  • Very low weight - the ejector weighs only a fraction of the weight of comparable ejectors and is the lightest ejector in its class!
  • Economical operation - lower compressed-air consumption for the same suction volume and at the same maximum vacuum value compared with existing products!
  • Flexibility - precise matching to the task thanks to ejector nozzles in six different power ratings
  • No maintenance - due to the open silencer, the ejector has no parts subject to wear and needs no maintenance!

With the new "Schmalz Base Pump", it is easy to save time and costs.
The plastic housing, optimised for weight and size, is ideal for decentralised vacuum generation in highly dynamic processes.
This optimisation for weight and size also permits direct mounting of the ejector on a vacuum gripper, and this results in shorter evacuation times, since less air has to be extracted, and even more economical operation.
The efficiency of the SBP is also improved, which means that less compressed air is needed to achieve the same maximum vacuum value at the same volume.

In addition, the push-in connections (threaded connectors are available as an option) and circuit symbols for the connections printed on the housing make installation easy and require little maintenance
The ejectors are available with six different power ratings (nozzle diameters from 0.5 - 2.5 mm) and have various mounting facilities (horizontal and vertical), and are thus extremely flexible.

The new ejector not only offers many advantages; its possible applications are also remarkable.
The SBP can, for example, be used feeder systems or vacuum spiders in machines for mounting components on printed-circuit boards and for the manufacture of electronic components.
It is also ideal for use in separation systems in the machining of plastic and metal sheets and for the construction of ejector blocks for the decentralised control of individual suction pads.

Your benefits at a glance:

  • Extremely small and light vacuum generator for highly dynamic processes
  • Minimal air consumption
  • Easy mounting facilities
  • Low noise levels and little maintenance

Technical highlights:

  • Degree of evacuation (all nozzle sizes) up to 85%
  • Maximum suction capacity between 7 l/min and 207 l/min.
  • Weight 7.5 g to 50 g

Schmalz Base Pump - SBP
The new basic ejectors are available in six power ratings. As shown here, each version is available with push-in or screw connections.

SBP - advantages and more advantages
Light, economical and flexible
Very low weight, optimised size, lower sir consumption and six different power ratings - these are the highlights of the new SBP!

SBP mounted on a terminal strip
Multiple terminal strip
For plug-in connection of individual ejectors. Mounting of ejectors in blocks is thus easy, without the need for tools.

SBP in action
Installation close to the point of use
The optimised shape permits installation very close to the suction pad. The low weight and small size permit shorter cycle times!
