FXC/FMC - maximum flexibility in automated handling tasks

The new large-area vacuum gripper system FXC/FMC is so flexible that it can be used in almost any sector of automated handling.
|
Your benefits:
- Flexibility - integrated push-in ejector permits matching of the performance to any task
- Flexibility - compact design with fewer projecting edges, wider range of possible applications
- Flexibility - modular design permits adaptation to (almost) any handling task
- Safety - dirt-protected valve technology ensures operational reliability and better system availability
The compact new large-area vacuum gripper system FXC is the essence of flexibility!
Construction, functions and performance of the new large-area vacuum gripper systems FXC: 1. Basic body: the extruded aluminium section with all functional elements integrated into the end covers is available in various lengths and is very light, permitting short cycle times. It has slots for simple mechanical mounting of the gripper. 2. Vacuum generator: integrated push-in ejectors permit flexible vacuum generation to match the requirements of the planned handling task. The possible configurations extend from one small multi-stage ejector of the type SEM25 to two very powerful ejectors of the type SEM100. The integration of the ejectors into the basic body results in fewer projecting edges, making the gripper suitable for many applications where such devices were previously impossible. 3. Valve technology: the valves have been improved in two respects. Firstly, the new valves are protected against dirt and are easy to clean. Secondly, two different technologies are available:
- The newly developed valve technology "SVK-W", which combines the performance of check-valve technology with the flexibility of flow-resistor technology. A specific minimum coverage is no longer necessary!
The SVK-W variant permits more air to flow than the SW technology and thus offers tow further important advantages:
- Better gripping of rough and porous workpieces
- Faster blowing-off and thus shorter cycle times
- Flow-resistor technology (SW valve technology) - the low-cost version of the large-area vacuum gripper
4. Sealing mat: the sealing mat is available with two different hole spacings - fine and medium - and can thus be matched optimally to the width of the workpiece to be handled. The mat can support heavy loads and very hard-wearing. With the optional integrated filter mat with self-cleaning effect, the valves can be protected even better against dirt, thus improving the operational reliability and system availability and permitting longer maintenance intervals. The sealing mat is quickly replaceable and can simply be pulled away from the gripper. If the mat becomes worn, it is no longer necessary to replace both the securing plate and the mat, but only the actual mat. This means considerable cost savings for the system owner and also permits on-site modification for handling different workpieces, thanks to the two different hole spacings of the mats.
The new large-area vacuum gripper system FXC is available in five standard sizes (lengths). The various combinations of the available features make this new gripper enormously flexible.
