Vacuum clamping system VC-T

The clamping table is made of low-distortion aluminium. There are many suction points on the table, arranged so that a vacuum block is always located above such a suction point, regardless of where it is positioned. All suction points are supplied with vacuum via a single line; they are kept closed by special valves. These valves open when a vacuum block is positioned over the outlet. After installation, the clamping table is milled down to ensure absolute accuracy with respect to the spindle of the machine tool. The vacuum blocks can be positioned quickly and easily to match the shape of the workpiece to be machined.
