This ring gripper is used in a quality inspection department to lift rolls of plastic foil from their cardboard boxes and place them on a test mandrel for measurement. This handling solution, using a suction pad on the only available surface of the rolls, made work much easier for the persons concerned. The angled operating handle permits even very long rolls to be handled without difficulty.
