This application example shows the complete vacuum gripper system, with spring-mounted suction pads, for the robot-assisted handling of furniture parts.

The gripper system is used for the fully automatic loading of a machine which applies edge bands to the parts. The necessary vacuum is generated by a multi-chamber ejector of the type SEM.

The picture shows spring plungers of the type FSTF with cost-optimised guide and mounting blocks manufactured as high-quality injection-moulded plastic parts.

The spring plungers can be mounted directly on all commonly used aluminium sectional beams.
