The application video shows how several layers of individual wooden boards can be handled quickly and variably with a large-area gripper of the type FX400x120, although there are sometimes cracks, knot-holes, etc. on the gripping surface. 

The integrated check valves, which close to prevent leaks, ensure that the FX gripper can develop the maximum possible holding force on the small surface area available for gripping.

The integrated solenoid valves which control the gripping and blow-off functions permit very short cycle times. The flexible, hard-wearing suction mat provides the necessary sealing, even on rough surfaces.
