This 12-page brochure is divided into sections for the main areas of use, such as "Handling of sheet metal", "Handling of metal sections and coils" and "Special solutions" and presents all relevant possibilities of handling with vacuum in these areas.

Basically, either vacuum tube lifters of the Jumbo series or vacuum lifting devices of the VacuMaster series are used for handling objects in the metal-working industry. The vacuum tube lifters are designed for fast and frequent lifting and movement of loads weighing up to 300 kg, while the crane-mounted vacuum lifting devices can also handle large sheets of metal weighing up to 2000 kg safely and reliably. The device for a given application is assembled from standardised components on the basis of the selection criteria "workpiece properties", "weight", "lifting and handling speed" and "type of handling" (horizontal or with turning by 90° or 180°). The various vacuum handling systems and the special configurations designed to meet the requirements of the metal-working industry are described and illustrated in the brochure.

The brochure also contains general information about cranes and chain hoists for suspension and movement of the vacuum handling systems, which make it possible to implement complete material-flow solutions, ready for use, from a single source
