For the manufacturers of windows, the vacuum specialist J. Schmalz GmbH offers the special lifting-device variant VacuMaster Window. For some time now, devices of this type have been used successfully for the vertical handling of sheets of glass and complete windows.

Highlights:

• Ergonomical handling of the workpieces by a single person

Applications:

 
Vertical handling of sheets of glass or windows. The suction-pad arrangement also permits the handling of multi-sash windows with frames which project up to 45 mm.

The experience gained in the successful introduction of the VacuMaster Comfort series has now been applied to the existing vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Window.

New features of the VacuMaster Window Comfort:

• Comfortable handling with the aid of an ergonomically designed operator handle
• Integrated controls for the chain hoist and the vacuum
• Integrated energy-saving function

The pump runs only when the vacuum in the vacuum reservoir drops below a preset level. Something which occurs only rarely when handling airtight workpieces such as sheets of glass. This function provides a considerable increase in the operating lifetime of the pump, saves energy and reduces the noise level of the device.
