Simple clamping of narrow workpieces

The Innospann Adapter Plate for Schmalz 1- and 2-circuit consoles



Innospann Adapter Plate



In this example, the Innospann Adapter Plate is used on a machining centre with a 2-circuit console system.

The adapter plate is simply placed on the console, where it is held in position by the first vacuum circuit. The second vacuum circuit holds the workpiece and the adapter plate securely on the console.

QuadBase


The adapter plates are equipped with Quad Bases, each of which can accommodate up to four Standard Suction Cups.

Standard suction cups are available in 3 different sizes.

They are simply placed on the quad base. Unused positions are covered with sealing caps.

After the suction cups have been positioned, the workpiece is laid on top of them.

The second vacuum circuit clamps all of the mounting elements securely and machining of the workpiece can be started.
