This special gripper is used for gripping wire-mesh baskets so that they can be lifted and moved with the vacuum tube lifter Jumbo. Four hooks grip the corners of the basket (as shown in the small photograph). The gripper frame is pressed apart by an integrated spring and the hooks engage with the basket. To release the basket, the frame is pulled in with the aid of a Bowden cable.
