Messrs. Toms Gerber GmbH in Callenberg makes use of the benefits of vacuum technology at various locations in the production process.
Both a vacuum-tube lifter JumboErgo and a vacuum lifting device VacuMaster are used in the manufacture of postforming and compound elements.
These two devices permit a single person to move heavy plastic and wooden panels without damage to the workpieces.

The upper picture shows the vacuum-tube lifter JumboErgo 200 picking up a sheet of wood from a stack. A dual gripper ensures that the workpieces are picked up reliably.
The picture also shows how the long operator handle allows the operator to keep out of the danger area when handling makes handling the large and unwieldy panels.
The JumboErgo can lift and transport workpieces weighing up to 200 kg to saws or other woodworking machines.
