The picture shows a vacuum gripper consisting of one longitudinal beam and eight cross-beams, all made of aluminium section which also act as a vacuum reservoir. The vacuum is generated by two compact ejectors of the SMP 25 series with integrated controllers for the air-saving function. These maintain a constant vacuum and switch themselves on only when the vacuum drops below a preset limit value. This integrated air-saving function minimises the operating costs. Depending on the application, flat or bellows-type suction pads made of extremely hard-wearing Vulkollan can be fitted.
