The photograph shows sheets of wood being stacked behind an edge-banding machine. The robot cell "Woodworker", made by Messrs. Fischertech, equipped with vacuum components from J. SCHMALZ GmbH, was designed specially for the flexible handling of wooden parts and furniture components on continuous-processing machines. The use of vacuum generators, vacuum switches and the special suction pads of the PFYN series from SCHMALZ permits precise and rapid handling sheets of all types of wood without marking them.
