The VacuCalculator is a small, free software program from Schmalz which permits the rapid conversion of system parameters into other units of measurement and the execution of calculations for the design of vacuum systems.

The VacuCalculator offers a multitude of different units of measurement, clearly arranged in 14 main groups under the heading "Unit Calculator", and you can convert between these units with only a few mouse clicks.

You can, for example, convert back and forth between the various units of measurement used for volume flow, pressure, power, area, time, distance, energy, force, mass, etc.

However, these unit conversion functions are only one feature of the VacuCalculator. The program really comes into its own when you need special vacuum calculations.

With the aid of the "Vacuum Calculator", you can quickly determine:

• Evacuation times for pumps

• Suction capacity/area

• Suction force

• Suction capacity of pumps

• Hose diameters

These functions are based on Schmalz expertise in the area of vacuum technology and the company's many years of experience in system design. You will hardly find another calculator which permits faster calculation of vacuum values.

Further highlights:

• Frequently used input and output parameters can be saved in the "User-defined" group.

• User-defined entries are possible. In other words, the user can specify their own input and output parameters, assign a conversion factor and use the entry whenever it is needed. Entries which are no longer needed can be deleted.

• The number of digits after the decimal point can be set to any desire value between 0 and 5.

• The VacuCalculator has an integrated Help function.

The VacuCalculator is downloaded as a ZIP file containing an EXE file (900 KB). After downloading, you only need to unpack it into a folder of your choice and start the EXE file.

At the moment, the Schmalz VacuCalculator is available in German and English (you can select the desired language from within the program).
