The vacuum specialists at J. Schmalz GmbH in 72293 Glatten have now extended their vacuum clamping system Innospann with newly developed components. Innospann suction blocks with hose connections are the convincing answer to the requirement for even faster conversion of the workpiece clamping systems of modern CNC woodworking centres. These new components not only make conversion faster, but also provide considerably more flexibility in the clamping and machining possibilities. In addition, the efficiency of the machines is increased enormously, since the machines can be converted very quickly, without mechanical modification, which means that their availability is increased accordingly.

The Innospann suction blocks with hose connections now permit the universal use of the Innospann workpiece clamping system on any CNC woodworking machine with a smooth table surface. The suction blocks can be positioned freely on the table and can be moved as desired. They thus permit perfect and damage-free clamping of all types of workpieces made of wood or plastic. Once they have been positioned precisely, the power suction blocks guarantee reproducible clamping accuracy. This, together with their high holding forces, makes them ideal for ensuring uniformly high machining quality.

At the moment, the new Innospann suction blocks Mono Base-G are available in two versions with a surface area of 80 x 80 mm and an overall height of 85 or 100 mm. This height includes the suction cups, which can be replaced quickly when worn, and which are available in three versions with surface areas of 80 x 80 mm, 80 x 40 mm and 80 x 28.

In addition to the Mono Base-G suction blocks, Innospann suction blocks Quad Base-G with hose connections are also available for smooth machine tables. Up to four standard suction cups with the above-mentioned dimensions can be mounted on one Quad Base. Schmalz thus offers a complete range of Innospann suction blocks for machines with smooth tables with which all types of clamping tasks can be handled.
