The new compact ejector X-Pump from Schmalz can be used flexibly in many different application areas, extending from the manufacture of automobiles (in press shops and assembly), through the processing of plastics and sheet metal, to pick-and-place, assembly and packing systems.

The main advantage of the X-Pump is that the intelligent condition monitoring automatically detects faults and deviations from the prescribed functions in good time. This means that suitable countermeasures can be initiated before the fault causes damage to the overall system. This increases the process safety and avoids the high costs involved in repairing such damage.

The X-Pump can also be used without problems in very rough operating conditions. It is extremely resistant to dirt and other environmental effects and is very hard-wearing. The high suction capacity and the powerful blow-off function of the X-Pump permit short cycle times and guarantee economical operation in continuous use.

Construction and connections:
The Schmalz X-Pump is a modular system. Optionally, it can be e quipped with a so-called power module which increases the blow-off power even further and permits even shorter cycle times. A large, clear keypad and an easily legible display permit simple programming. A special silencer reduces the noise level to 63 - 72 db(A).
The SXP compact ejectors can be combined into blocks of two to six ejectors, depending on the requirements of the application.

The mechanical, electrical and pneumatic connections can be made very easily. For the electrical connections, the user can select either one 8-pin M12 connector or two 5-pin M12 connectors. A bus interface suitable for all common bus protocols is available as an option.
