Thanks to the special properties of silicone, the special suction pads SGPN can now also be used in particularly demanding environments:
Heat resistance:
- Handling of hot, freshly laminated workpieces (such as laminated sheets of paper).
Ozone resistance:
- Use in laser printers, scanners and copies in the paper-processing industry which generate ozone.
Resistance to UV radiation:
- Particularly important when the SGPN pads are used in printing systems (such as offset printing presses) where UV radiation is used to dry and fix the printing inks.
Foodstuff quality:
- The special suction pads are also available in foodstuff quality, which means that they can also be used in packing systems where materials which do not affect foodstuffs are mandatory.
Further concrete application examples:
- Handling of packed cosmetics (such as soap wrapped in paper). ·
- Handling of instant foodstuffs (powder-filled, liquid-filled, not evacuated).
- Handling of empty packages for instant foodstuffs. Since silicone does not affect foodstuffs, the packages can also be gripped from the inside.
- Handling tasks during the manufacture of flat TV and monitor screens, such as removal of the protective plastic film from easily damaged pole filters in areas with very high cleanliness requirements.
Important details of SGPN:
- A flat, tapered sealing lip and an inner support prevent workpieces from being pulled into the suction pad. The suction pads are thus ideal for handling thin plastic films, paper and solar cells.
- Paper and plastic film can be gripped without crumpling.
