Vacuum components
1. Safe and reliable handling of packing materials - we have the right suction pads for your applications
The handling of packing materials with vacuum components places various demands on vacuum technology. Our staff at the trade fair will by glad to show you which vacuum components are the right solution for reliable handling of your products.
Your packing materials - our solution:
- Non-rigid packing materials or cardboard boxes with structured or ribbed surfaces - suction pads FSGAO made of Vulkollan, with a special foam seal: less leakage and lower compressed-air consumption
- Bags, medium-sized sacks - suction pads with foam-rubber seals prevent leaks
- Film and paper - suction pads made of natural rubber designed especially for easily damaged packing materials
- Rough cardboard - suction pads made of Vulkollan: very robust and extremely hard-wearing
- Foodstuffs - suction pads made of silicone, also available in foodstuff quality

Suction pads FSGAO
Cakes packed in clear plastic film are handled safely with two suction pads for each cake.

A better seal with special foam material
This picture shows the special suction pad FSGAO in action. The better seal provided by the special foam material reduces the leaks, permitting the handling of even objects with "difficult" surfaces!

2. Large-area vacuum gripper system FX - easy handling of all types of packing materials
With the large-area vacuum gripper system, you can handle products and packing materials of all types. Even if the objects to be handled are made of differing materials, with different dimensions and surface finishes, the large-area vacuum gripper system provides maximum flexibility since there is no need to change the gripper for different objects.
Two operating principles ensure optimum handling:
FX-SV - with check valves for maximum holding forces:
For large, heavy objects (cardboard boxes)
Unused vacuum cells are automatically disabled
Maximum suction force and holding force at the active vacuum apertures
FX-SW - with flow resistors for maximum flexibility, regardless of the gripper coverage
Handling of packing materials of all shapes and sizes
Holding force increases with the degree of coverage
Don't you know whether your workpieces can be handled with the large-area vacuum gripper system FX? You can bring some samples and test them on our stand! You can see the FX gripper in action and even try it out yourself.

Vacuum handling systems
1. The Multigripper can even handle soft cardboard boxes - ...nothing is impossible!
The surfaces of many cardboard boxes are anything but rigid and present problems which standard gripper systems cannot solve. The Jumbo Multigripper successfully meets this challenge. Due to the special construction of its suction-pad system, the Multigripper adapts itself optimally to the cardboard boxes, permitting safe, reliable and fast gripping.
Come and see our Multigripper on our stand. We will be glad to carry out lifting tests for your specific application.
