More than 23,000 runners, walkers and inline-skaters took part in this year's Stuttgart Run. Schmalz was represented by a record number of entrants: 20 employees appeared in the Schmalz outfit and make a very good figure: all members of the Schmalz reached the finish in very good times.

Danilo Butz, Jochen Kilgus and Dr. Kurt Schmalz started in the Inline Half Marathon, while Jochen and Holger Schönhuth, Rajko Just, Michael Schlaich and Daniel Just Ran in the Half Marathon. The "0 auf 7 Team", coached by Ralf Moser, completed the 7-kilometre run successfully: Sabine Dittmann, Simone Göricke, Corinna Kurz, Gabriele Hirsch, Bettina Kaupp, Anton Kaftan and Thomas Schwab. All runners of this team were beginners, who trained together from “0 to 7” km within the last three months, to reach the big goal: mastering the 7 km distance of the Stuttgart Run successfully. Gabriele Lippert, Sandra Webster, Brigitte Schlaich and Karl-Heinz Brandt walked the 7-kilometre distance in the midday heat in Stuttgart.

Just as in preceding years, the Stuttgart Run 2007 was a great experience, and everyone is already looking forward to the 15th Stuttgart Run, which will be held on 22.06.2008. The Schmalz will certainly be there again!
