Vacuum clamping system

Mounted on a two-position CNC machining centre made by CMS, the vacuum clamping system consists of two aluminium baseplates, various vacuum blocks of different sizes – with and without lifting system – and some special vacuum blocks for narrow workpieces. The hose-free vacuum blocks can be positioned and exchanged as desired to match the shape of the workpiece to be machines. They are supplied with vacuum via a single line on the table. Due to the two-position configuration, the workpiece on one position can be exchanged while the workpiece in the other position is being machines. It is also possible to reconfigure one position for a different workpiece while the other is working.
