This special gripper, which consists of five flexible bellows-type suction pads (diameter 150 mm), is used for lifting rolls of foil with varying diameters. The suction pads are mounted in fixed positions on the crossbeam, which also carries the vacuum. The photograph shows the device being used to remove the rolls from their packing materials.
