The vacuum lifting device shown here with the parallel gripper is used for handling doors with apertures for windows. The gripper is easily moved along the longitudinal beam with a handle and equal spacing of the two cross-beams from the centre line is maintained automatically. This permits the handling of workpieces of varying widths and with only narrow frames.
