This unit was designed for moving very long (9 m) gate segments. The operator stands at the end of the unit, and can thus lift parts from stacks of varying heights.
Each of the oval suction pads is flexibly mounted on springs. In addition, the four outer suction pads can be switched off electrically in order to simplify the lifting of shorter parts.
