In order to carry out certain tasks more ergonomically and more safely, a leading manufacturer of high-pressure washers has selected a vacuum tube lifter from Schmalz. This is used to transfer moulded plastic parts from a roller conveyor to special assembly pallets. The vacuum head consists of five different bellows-type suction pads of various heights to permit safe gripping of the complexly shaped surface of the workpieces. An additional stop on the vacuum head steadies the parts during transfer with the Jumbo Handy.
