Simple loading station for an LVA laser processing centre.

The loading station of a laser processing centre of the type Axel, manufactured by LVA, uses suction pads from Schmalz. These suction pads of the Type SPU, made from the material NBR and with a diameter of 160 mm, are extremely suitable for the handling of metal sheets.

Solenoid valves are used to control various vacuum circuits to ensure that only the necessary suction pads are activated when handling sheets of varying sizes.

The suction pads are mounted on spring plungers, permitting them to be placed gently on the workpieces without the need for additional control functions.

The vacuum is generated centrally with the aid of a pump.
