Manually guided vacuum grippers

In order to ensure maximum flexibility while avoiding heavy physical work and preventing large metal sheets from twisting and flexing during handling, Eisenmann Maschinenbau KG uses manually guided vacuum grippers suspended from cranes.

These grippers have a large number of suction pads and permit easy lifting and transport of metal sheets up to 3 metres long and 1 metre wide.

They grip the flexible metal sheets reliably and safely and prevent them from twisting and flexing during transport.

Eisenmann have been using these grippers successfully in two- and three-shift operation for one year now. The grippers where conceived, designed, constructed and installed by Schmalz.
