The company Automotive Lighting uses HT1 suction pads for the removal of plastic parts from injection-moulding machines.
Automotive Lighting, a manufacturer of headlamps for motor vehicles, sets very high standards in the production of headlamp lenses.
When the parts are removed from the mould of the injection-moulding machines, the plastic parts have a temperature of about 120-140 °C. This places high demands on the suction pads. The surfaces of the headlamp lenses are coated with a special lacquer, which means that silicone suction pads cannot be used.
These special suction pads made of HT1 material meet the high demands and are the preferred solution for use in the removal units and grippers.
The HT1 suction pads offer the following advantages:
The HT1 material leaves no marks on the workpiece.
The suction pads are completely free of substances which could interfere with the surface-wetting effects of the lacquer.
The workpieces can be lacquered after removal without problems.
HT1 suction pads withstand temperatures of up to 160 °C.
