Rectangular suction pads FGB permit better handling

Rectangular suction pads of the type FGB offer new possibilities for the problem-free handling of packed sliced bread.

The company A+F is an original equipment manufacturer and recently tested these new suction pads from the vacuum components range manufactured by Schmalz. The sliced loaves are lifted from the conveyor belt and placed on pallets.

The handling module consists of a base plate into which the rectangular suction pads of the type FGB 60x29 R are screwed directly. The vacuum is supplied by a side-channel pump.
The 48 suction pads, made from the material NK (natural rubber) are extremely flexible and possess a high suction force, making them ideal for the handling of non-rigid workpieces such as - in this case - packed sliced loaves.
