Suction pads with rectangular shape permit safe handling

The handling of gas-filled cheese packages frequently causes problems. These are now a thing of the past since the company A+F has started using the new rectangular suction pads FGB from Schmalz.

The cheese packages, weighing 200 g and 400 g, are lifted in layers from the conveyor belt and placed on pallets. The packages are gripped carefully and securely by suction pads of the type FGB 52x25 NK (made of natural rubber). The suction pads are screwed directly into the handling module.

The vacuum gripper is equipped with 48 suction pads (FGB 52x25 R NK) and is supplied with vacuum by a side-channel compressor with frequency regulation.
