Messrs. Becker Automatisierungstechnik in Büren relies on the oval suction pads of the series FSGAO (with 1.5 corrugations) from Schmalz for the handling of pre-packed cakes.
Previously, the pre-packed cakes were placed in cardboard boxes by hand. The use of the suction pads, which are mounted on an industrial robot, permits faster and more reliable handling.

The suction pads grip the cakes, which are enclosed in plastic film, easily and without damage. The cakes can then be transported and placed in the cardboard boxes.
