This application example shows the flexible large-area gripper system mounted on a portal transfer crane.

Sheets with varying dimensions have to be picked up safely from undefined positions. The solution is the flexible large-area gripper type FM with the dimensions 3000 x 120 mm.

The optimised sealing-mat and valve technology permits the vacuum to be generated with only two multi-chamber ejectors of the type SEM 100 driven by compressed air.
