This example shows the transport of empty Euro pallets to a position where they are automatically loaded with cardboard boxes.
The pallets are lifted with the aid of a large-area gripper of the type FX600x80SW, mounted on a four-axis industrial robot manufactured by Messrs Fresenius Medical Care. The pallet is gripped along the centre board.

The externally located quadruple large-area gripper of the type FX400x120SW is used to move cardboard boxes of varying sizes to variable positions on the pallet.
The gripping, moving and positioning of the empty pallet and the boxes is carried out with one and the same large-area gripper system. This is simply switched internally between the two different functions.
