Fight against the „cost-eaters“ in press shops

High performance Schmalz X-Pump ejectors are eliminating tooling errors

and are reducing costs in the handling of sheet-metal in the press shop

of a big German-American car manufacturer

Condition Monitoring

A big German-American car manufacturer has equipped his press shop with the new Schmalz ejectors type X-Pump. These ejectors give a competitive edge to conventional ejectors. With the condition monitoring function, which warrants a 100% reduction of errors in the press shop, it is possible to save substantial costs.
In this way, well-known “cost-eaters” like tooling errors and leaks can be excluded even before they have an impact on the costs. As well, long stoppage times, which go with a manual search of tooling errors, are a thing of the past.
The integrated “air-saving function“ enables savings in compressed air up to 98% that lead as well to cost reductions. The employees are also comfortable with the extremely high gripping and blow-off power as well as by the lapse of the time delays that come along with the search for tooling errors.

X-pump

The elimination of tooling errors and leaks by the Schmalz Condition Monitoring system ensures a previously unknown level of process reliability.
