Information about VC-T

VC-T clamping table

The basic elements

1. The clamping table

The clamping table is made of non-warping aluminium. It has a large number of vacuum outlets arranged so that a suction block is always on top of one such outlet, regardless of where it is positioned on the table.

All of the vacuum outlets are supplied with vacuum via a single vacuum line. Unused outlets are kept closed by special valves.

Highlights:

  • The clamping table is milled down after mounting to ensure absolute accuracy with respect to the tool spindle. Result: maximum precision.

  • Flexible and rapid mounting on smooth tables and grid tables.

VC-T Suction blocks

2. Suction blocks

The hose-free suction blocks can be positioned quickly on the table. There are no hoses to get in the way and thus no risk of collisions with the tool spindle.

Highlights:

  • A wide range of different suction blocks is available in the standard range.

  • High-quality, hard-wearing plastic material guarantees a long operating lifetime.

  • We guarantee a dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.06 mm.

  • Very high holding forces: suction force up to 850 N and a horizontal force of 600 N!

Working procedure

Setting up
Setting up

1. Setting up

The suction pads are positioned quickly in any desired position to match the workpiece. When they are in the correct positions, they are clamped to the table by vacuum to prevent them from moving when the machine is loaded or unloaded.

2. Clamping and machining the workpiece

After the suction blocks have been positioned and clamped, the workpiece is laid on top of them and also clamped. The suction blocks withstand high machining forces such as those which occur when machining solid-wood workpieces!

3. Simple cleaning

After machining of the workpiece, the machine can be cleaned easily and quickly, since there are no obstacles in the way. Coarse dirt or fine dust have no chance!
