Suction pads


Non-marking (or, more correctly, only slightly marking): which suction-pad material should be used to meet this requirement?
- Non-marking:
A prerequisite for this is an absolutely clean working environment!
Silicone rubber (SI)
If this material is not permitted (for example, for freshly painted surfaces in the automotive industry), then Viton.
- Slightly marking:
Vulkollan (VU1) or nitrile rubber (NBR)

Oily surfaces: which suction pad is suitable?
- Pads made of the material Vulkollan (VU1) or nitrile rubber (NBR)
- Our series SAF, SAB, SAOF and SAOB suction pads are widely used for handling sheet metal.

Higher temperatures: which suction pads are suitable?
Suction pads made of silicone rubber (SI).

Foodstuffs: which suction pads are suitable for foodstuffs?
Suction pads made of silicone rubber (SI)

Rough surfaces: which suction pads can be used?
- Slightly rough surfaces, such as wood veneers, sand-blasted surfaces:
bellows-type suction pads – particularly those made of silicone rubber (SI) and natural rubber (NK). Suction plates of the SPU series are also suitable.
- Very rough surfaces, such as checker plate or stud plate:
SPK.

Separating sagging metal sheets: which suction pads can be used?
Suction pads of the SPU series with peeling insert (AE).

Low wear: which suction-pads are very hard-wearing?
Suction pads made of Vulkollan (VU1)

How can one deactivate suction pads which are not in contact with the workpiece?
By using so-called check valves.
